Obviously the wife and I want to be better at the game but more than that we want to be good partners to anyone that we’re playing along side of. Your videos are great! Could you please make an episode (sorry I didn't watch all the previous videos if you haven't made one before) about the strategy of how to deal with the opponent's drop, drive, and smash when standing behind the kitchen line?

Good pickleball points, but let's get the math right. 🙂 Based on how you labeled the sides in your diagram, a**2 + c**2 = b**2. If you want the traditional equation, the hypotenuse should be "c."

This was a great instructional video and I am a former tennis player who learned from this what not to do! Tennis is a whole different sport that teaches you that the one who can drive the ball hardest and deepest is usually going to succeed. pickleball is more about finesse and power at the right moment. Great job with this video! thanks

Nice job. It seems you should note that the serve is always to the diagonal court. I've seen some folks try to serve straight on. That is server on the RH side and the opponent on the LH side for example.

So they build a pickleball court at my local state park and i found a couple of brand new pickleball rackets at Goodwill i guess im gonna give this game a try

In your 5 things that beginners do you point out to serve and Stay however, when you demonstrate the third shot drop you’re standing in what I call no man’s land. Shouldn’t you be behind the base line to properly demonstrate the third shot drop?

I’m a beginner and lose most games so will try incorporating these tips and hopefully will win a few!

Love it. Clear, short, easy to digest. Too many players aim for green/net instead of green/yellow and reset. Half the reason people think a drop is so difficult is that they think if the other person does a mediocre roll volley, it was a bad shot. Unless its a red, its workable. Stop missing drops and reset and you'll win way more.

Where is the rule? After listening to his guy for two minutes, no rules explained but a direction to find the rule. What a hassle. Wasting all the time.

I wish you had spent more time on the serving rules. That is the biggest mistake and problem I see with new players. They tend to serve sideways rather than with an upward motion.

This is WITHOUT A DOUBT the best explanation I’ve seen to explain the nuances of the 3rd (or 5th or 7th) shot drop. Great concepts, incredible use of video and graphics to make them understandable. Kyle- can I come train with you and become your best friend? Or at least come train with you?
